If you are looking to learn new approaches to Big Data that you can rapidly-implement then this session is for you!
Cory Isaacson has been actively involved in leading database technologies for over 20 years. Most recently, Cory was president of Rogue Wave Software, managing the organization for over 3 years, building new product strategies, culminating in a successful acquisition in mid-2007 by a leading private equity firm. With his focus on database technology, he founded a leading independent consulting firm in the early days of relational database systems. The firm led to several acquisitions, and to date he has completed 5 software acquisitions in his career.
His interest in scalability and parallel computing led to his first book, Software Pipelines (Addison-Wesley, 2009). He has published numerous articles on database and Big Data technology, has spoken at 100s of technical events, and is now working on a new book project in the field. While at Rogue Wave, with a focus on Wall Street customers, he became keenly aware of the need for database scalability -- and thus dbShards was born, the primary offering of CodeFutures.
As CEO/CTO of CodeFutures, he is responsible for the dbShards technology direction and corporate management.
